Overview
Global Family Matters Information System (FAMIS)
The Global FAMIS is a publicly accessible electronic archive of data and bibliographic resources on the sanctity and defense of family, marriage, parenting, and children as well as law, public policy, and advocacy affecting the natural family around the world.
Global State of the Family Index
The Global State of the Family Index is an international, centralized database on family health and well-being. The data collection consists of family health indicators such as infant mortality, maternal mortality, migration, marriage, divorce, educational attainment, family economics and more, which have been compiled from sources such as United Nations, World Health Organization and others. Because numeric data serve as a universal metric, the standardization and presentation of these cross-national indicators of family health and well-being is aimed at assisting researchers, policy-makers, and all advocates of the family as the natural and fundamental group unit of society.
World Family Scholars Database (WFSD)
The WFSD is a global electronic index of family researchers that includes individual profiles containing contact information, professional details, and academic papers. Family scholars' contact and professional information will be available online to the public and serve as a way to identify and locate researchers by name, geography, and academic focus.
Browsing and searching the database is open, free, and encouraged for both registered and unregistered users. However, by registering, you'll have the ability to create and modify your own professional profile in the index. For users who wish to share more details than the profile fields accommodate, WFSD Registration enables you to upload and update electronic documents such as curricula vitae, transcripts of presentations, academic papers, and a small profile picture.
Family Organizations Guide (Global Edition)
The Family Organizations Guide is a directory of organizations working to protect the family worldwide. This information is not complete, it is a beginning. This guide will help individuals and groups concerned with the family to contact, communicate and cooperate with each other.
Please note that some NGOs that do not have their own website have been included. They are located on network sites (such as CRIN and Kabissa) where their contact information and mission statements are available.
Every effort has been made to obtain accurate information from published data. Please notify DIIFSD of any errors so necessary corrections can be made. In addition, send DIIFSD the contact information - including e-mail addresses - of other organizations that should be included in future editions. Inclusion in this guide does not constitute an endorsement of any organization by DIIFSD.
